"Confluence":Acrylic on Paper (33x40)
"Interchange" Acrylic on Paper (40x40)
I apply acrylic paint using a palette knife on canvas and heavy water color paper. My work continues to evolve and currently I am very excited and energized by what I am
doing. I work very intuitively and channel wonderful energy on to the surface of each painting.
The marks on the surface represent the coming together, the passing, and interaction of beings. How we relate, how we connect. The background is the glue, the back drop of the commonality that connects us, keeps us rotating and remaining on this planet, in this universe. It is a cacophony of spirits, moving through the universe, passing, bumping into one another, passing overhead. It shows the collective spirit and the energy that can be created by that synthesis. The paintings bring together the glue and the various entities
on the same plane. The beauty and love and giving move into and around all of the souls and spirits that inhabit this place, or have inhabited this place. It cradles and wraps around and cushions the specific energy of each being.
